The difference between T1 and T2 terminals

The smaller T1 size terminal batteries are generally used for Alarm systems, the large terminal T2 size terminal generally are used for higher power requirement applications.
 
The T1 terminal is 3/16 inch wide
The T2 terminal is 1/4 inch wide
